Crane Operator Training Program

AME, INC., offers one of the largest and most versatile crane fleets in the Carolinas. Every day, our hydraulic and conventional cranes are assisting our clients in the safe and efficient movement of their goods and equipment. Yet the features that enable cranes to move heavy loads and maneuver around construction and industrial sites can put their operators -- and others -- in real danger

A modern mobile crane is a sophisticated piece of technology. For its safe and effective use, an operator must know how to properly handle complex steering, suspension, counterweight and lift systems. AME, Inc., understands this concept and we have made initial and on-going training an absolute requirement for the professionals who operate our cranes.

AME, Inc., has developed an in-house, crane operator safety, training and certification program that exceeds industry standards.

  • In-house Safety Coordinator
  • Entry-level and annual crane operator training (160-hour field/classroom training and testing program, the best in the industry)
  • Mandatory drug testing program
  • Third-party annual equipment inspection
  • In-house equipment maintenance and custom fabrication facility
  • Qualified estimators and dispatchers to ensure the right crane for the job.

The AME diamond logo is a familiar sight on cranes across the southeast. To many, AME is the only choice and our logo means the right
people are doing the rigging and lifting.
