AME 50th Anniversary Golf Outing

On October 8th, AME held its annual golf outing at Waterford Golf Club in Rock Hill, SC.  There were over 120 players in attendance along with countless others who attended the event just to socialize and enjoy some of the renowned low country boil that the event has come to be known for.  We could not have had a better day and thank all of you whom attended and assisted with the planning and execution of the event.  Congratulations to Bill Chamberlin, Russ Gamlin, Kevin Berkebile, and Bill Helms as this years winning team.

AME hosts open house to celebrate 50th Anniversary

On May 27th AME opened its doors at our Fort Mill, SC operations center to all the valued customers, vendors, and close business partners whom have helped us over the past 50 years to become the strong organization we are today.  We were over whelmed by the outpouring of appreciation and turnout for this event.  Attendance ranged from owners, plant maintenance personnel, purchasing department heads, 1st and 2nd tier suppliers, etc.  We can’t thank you all enough for being active participants in our celebration.  We hope you all enjoyed the Bar-B-Que !!

Top Industrial Project In The Carolinas

AME, Inc. of Fort Mill, SC has been awarded the 4 Star General Award for the top industrial project in the Carolinas. GSI General Materials, LLC, a major supplier of building materials for the construction industry, annually presents the 4 Star General Awards based on the category, size and prestige of construction projects in the Carolinas. AME, Inc. was recognized in the industrial category for the Freightliner Expansion Project, Mt. Holly, NC. The presentation was made at a ceremony at the GSI General Materials offices in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, October, 11.

AME, Inc., Makes South Carolina's Top 100

AME, Inc., has landed on South Carolina's list of the top 100 privately held businesses.

The list, which has been compiled by Arthur Andersen for 15 years, ranks the companies according to revenues from the most recently completed fiscal year.

AME, Inc., Featured in Top Trade Publication

AME, Inc., was recently featured in the November, 1999 issue of Dixie Contractor magazine. Dixie Contractor is a major construction trade publication that spotlights the industry's top firms and provides feature stories pertaining to their most challenging projects. The magazine is distributed to over 11,000 industry subscribers throughout South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
